Happy Birthday Hannah!

Hannah turned the big 4 in July, I can't believe she is already 4. She started pre-school this year and she LOVES it! This year we celebrated her birthday at her Uncle Ryan's and Aunt Michelle's pool. We had lots of family and friends there to celebrae with us. I love summer birthdays!

Hannah wanted to water the plants so she asked the lifeguard to help her and they actually did it. I thought for sure they'd tell her no. They're the best!
I decided to make Hannah's cake this year, it was Tangled theme. Once I stacked the cake I realized it was too tall, I need a longer pan for next time. But I had fun making it and it turned out pretty good I think.

Hannah has such a good heart and cares so much about other people. She loves doing anything and eveything with her Dad. She is a daredevil, she isn't really scared of anything, except monsters under her bed. She is also really sassy and funny and makes everyone laugh. We love you Hannah bear. You are growing into such a little lady and I am so proud to be your Mommy!

Missouri Trip 2011

This past June we went back to MO and this trip was extra special because my sister and her family came down for a few days too! I hadn't seen my neices in such a long time and I can't wait to see everyone again real soon. We had such a good time going to St. Louis for a Cardinals game(by ourselves) and we took the kids, my mom and brother to six flags. We've missed six flags, they have an "amusement park" here but it's no where near what Six Flags St. Louis is.

This ride went a little too high for the girls! They both were hanging on for their lives. lol.

Missouri is a kind of heat that my kids are used to, we were there for 45 minutes and their little faces were bright red so we found a little sprinkler park in the kiddie area.

We shot off fireworks with my sister's family and went to Going Bonkers a couple of times. Here are some pictures with my brother, Hannah and her cousins having a water gun fight.

Mackenzie's 1st Birthday!

I'm baaacckkk! I know it's been forever, but now that we are settled in our new house and the computer is not in someone's bedroom(YAY!!!) I can finally find some time to blog. The first thing on my list is Kenzie's 1st birthday. I know seriously it was so long ago why blog about it? I mean she is almost 2! Anyways her birthday was March 23rd and this girl could not have been less interested in her presents.

We love you Kenzie and are so happy you are in our family! This past year has been amazing getting to know you. You are such a loving, sweet, sensitive little girl and I love it because I get lots of "loves". You will be an amazing big sister some day. Everytime you see a baby(even if the baby is older than you) you want to hold it and love it. You love dresses and skirts and are just such a girly girl. I love watching you grow everyday. I love being your mommy! Happy Birthday baby girl!

mmmm cake

Okay so please be kind this was my first attempt at a fondant cake and there were a lot of mistakes made but hopefully next time will go a little smoother. I had some issues with tearing and the green was supposed to be darker! Oh well better luck next time!
